Enter the church season of Lent with us, in 1 of 2 ways:
Drop by FCC’s Sanctuary during the lunch hour, between noon – 1, for a moment of contemplation, candle lighting, and ashes.
Expect this to take about 5 minutes, come and go. Enter through the Broadway-facing doors, turn right, and come inside.
OR
Gather at our brief Ash Wed. evening service in Contemporary Worship. Expect live music, Scripture reading, modern connections, Communion and the imposition of ashes, all in 30 minutes.
Folks who participate in Ash Wednesday say it’s surprisingly meaningful to connect to this age-old church tradition, and uplifting to experience it in the FCC way. We mark the occasion to increase our awareness – of the Christ we follow, the humanity we hold, and of the God who never stops calling us back.
