Pentecost Sunday

God breathing life into dust. Moses leading people out of slavery into freedom. Hagar crying out for God to remember the covenant.

Layer after layer.

Mary saying yes. Jesus breaking bread. Young people seeing visions. Elders dreaming dreams.

For generations, God's people have built a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world—going beyond tradition, beyond borders and barriers, beyond “us” and “them.” They’ve built layers of community and color, of spirituality and vision, of justice and joy. And through it all, they’ve proclaimed the good news: the Spirit still breathes new life and breaks new bread. God’s people still dream dreams.

Your participation in the 2025 Pentecost Offering adds a new layer—supporting what God’s Spirit is doing next.

This special offering helps nurture the new church movement both in our region and across the U.S. and Canada through New Church Ministry. It supports emerging communities of worship and the leaders who will guide them.

On Sunday, June 8, we invite you to consider how you might join in—through prayer, encouragement, or a contribution. If you choose to give, simply mark your gift as “Special” so it can be designated for the Pentecost Offering.

Together, let’s keep building something beautiful. Be a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.
