“HARVEST” PROCESS 

Each year, First Christian Church takes a distribution from our endowment—what we lovingly call our “Harvest.” This year, we have drawn $128,000 from the endowment to support meaningful projects, initiatives, and ministries that go beyond our annual budget.

We invite members of the congregation to submit Harvest Requests for a portion of these funds. These requests should support the mission of our church and help bring life to ideas that align with our values.

If you have an idea, we encourage you to discuss your request with a staff member or Ministry Team Leader to help shape it into proper form for our Finance Committee. This step ensures your proposal is aligned and ready for consideration.

  • Deadline to submit requests: August 12th

  • Finance Committee will review and prioritize requests

  • TheBoard will review Finance’s proposal on August 13th (All are welcome to attend this meeting.)

  • Following the Board meeting, a Congregational Meeting will be held to review and approve the final distribution amount.
