Where are the Roses
Due to the spread of Rose Rosette Disease—a highly contagious and incurable virus that has devastated rose populations across the DFW area—we will be removing several of our cherished rose bushes. This decision comes with guidance from the Smith County Extension Office and the Tyler Rose Garden management, who recommend letting the affected beds rest for at least one year before replanting.
While it's sad to say goodbye to these beloved plants, this step is necessary to protect other roses in our community and help prevent further spread of the disease in our city, famously known as the Rose Capital of America. We appreciate your understanding as we take time to care for our garden’s future.
