FCC Pumpkin Patch & Pumpkapalooza!
Join us for an afternoon of fall fun at FCC’s annual PumpkaPalooza on Sunday, October 18, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM! This beloved tradition brings our church and community together for a celebration filled with Trunk-or-Treat games and candy and our Annual Chili Cook-Off! Whether you’re bringing the family, entering your favorite chili recipe, hosting a trunk, or simply enjoying the festivities, there’s something for everyone.
The fall fun doesn’t stop there! Our annual Pumpkin Patch is also open for the season, offering a chance to find the perfect pumpkin while making a meaningful difference. Proceeds from the patch help support FCC’s youth ministry, and a portion of the earnings will benefit Achieving Dreams, a group that meets in our church building and works to support individuals in our community. Even more, the pumpkins we purchase are organically grown and sourced through a company that supports the Native American community involved in their harvest. That means every pumpkin helps contribute to something bigger: supporting our youth, strengthening our community, and making a positive impact beyond our church walls.
To keep the patch running smoothly, we’d love your help filling our volunteer shifts! Shifts are short and manageable, typically two hours, with Saturday and Sunday shifts also. There are plenty of openings, and signing up for even one shift can make a real difference. Our dedicated volunteers work hard to keep the patch open and welcoming, and additional helping hands allow everyone to share the responsibility while giving our youth a stronger foundation for success. The task is made easy with clear instructions and comfortable shaded seating. So grab a friend and spend a relaxing time with a friend in the patch and make a difference today!
