On the Personal and Pastoral… A Note From Rev. Ginger

Friends, I hope you've heard by now that the Brandts will be moving before school starts, so that I can take a ministry position at First Christian Church McKinney.  I accepted the job after long thought and prayer, and I hold it as the next calling God has for me.  I go into the work of Minister for Family Life delighted with new possibilities, excited about building new ministries.

Leaving YOU is, of course, the hardest part of a huge amount of change in a short period of time. I'm here until the end of July, so please reach out for coffee or lunch, for a chat or a meal, before then! (And bonus points given for scheduling soon!)

Meanwhile, I'm praying over every act, every day at work. And I'm believing in your future so strongly, I can hold your hopes for you, until you're ready to pick them up. I believe in a God who takes care of us ALL — and that God would not arrange something special for me without ALSO bringing about something special for YOU. Talk to me or Chris if you feel uneasy about the future — I'm seeing the work already going into it, and Chris is behind the scenes building it, and both of us have reassuring things to say!

Late July will be for goodbyes; we're not there yet! So I'll sign off with two facts so true they don't depend on geography: I love you, friends. We have shown up for each other, and we will never stop cheering for one another!
