Pentecost Sunday, May 24

Pentecost, the day that marks 50 days since Jesus' resurrection and the coming of the Holy Spirit, will be celebrated at FCC. Some are in the habit of wearing red on Pentecost Sunday. We will receive a special offering in support of "New Church Establishment" among the Disciples. In traditional worship, we will wrap up our 3 week sermon series on St Francis. The Chancel Choir will sing a beautiful Anthem, "Eternal Life"...an
Anthem based on the Prayer of St Francis ("Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace."). It will be great day in worship in both rooms. And, "extra points" for coming to church on a 3 day weekend!
