Santas For Seniors

This holiday season, we’re partnering with Meals on Wheels East Texas for their Santas for Seniors program! Many local seniors who receive Meals on Wheels have little or no family nearby, and this program helps ensure they feel remembered and loved during Christmas. Each year, community members donate thoughtful, new gifts that are packaged and delivered to seniors across East Texas — often being the only gift they’ll receive all year.

Our church will serve as a drop-off site for these donations for up until Dec 5. We’re asking for new, practical, and comforting items such as fleece blankets, socks, towels, puzzle books, or small gift cards. Please avoid used or fragile items. You’ll find the drop box in Disciples Hall, and we encourage everyone to help fill it! Let’s share the joy of the season and remind our senior neighbors that they are seen, valued, and loved this season.
