2025 Roof Project
October 3, 2025: Approaching the End
The roof on the CLC Building is completed. The crew has moved to the Main Building roof, and it is approximately 60% completed. They are on schedule for a mid-October completion, but the weather is always our top concern. The good news is that no major structural issues have been found to date.
Jesús, our trusty Maintenance Worker, along with the help of Rick Kulpa, a faith Facilities volunteer, have begun replacing a significant portion of the ceiling tiles in the CLC Building. Many tiles have water damage, which is not only aesthetically displeasing, but it also prevents us from spotting any small leaks that need to be addressed.
Overall, the Roof Project has caused minimal disruption on campus, other than noise, temporary Gym closures, and lost parking. Please continue to be cautious of the work equipment around the buildings and do not cross into areas that are blocked off.
August 25, 2025: Finishing Gym Roof Section
The roof replacement project is well underway! The flat roofs of the CLC Building and much of the Main Building are being replaced in this project. Work began above the Gym due to its complex construction, which has occasionally required temporary closures during demolition. We’re happy to share that the Gym roof demolition will wrap up on Thursday, August 28, and the Gym will fully reopen for activities on Tuesday, September 2, after Labor Day.
