Disciples Coffee Project

The Disciples Women’s Ministries of First Christian Church, Tyler, has proudly supported the Disciples of Christ Coffee Project since 2013. If you purchase cups of coffee or tea at the Sunday Coffee Bar or coffee, tea and chocolate for the Holidays, you are supporting this important ministry that helps those in need locally, nationally and internationally.

Started in 2008, the Disciples of Christ Coffee Project is a collaboration between Equal Exchange, Disciples Home Missions, and Week of Compassion to involve more Disciples in supporting small farmers around the world. For each pound of fairly traded coffee, chocolate, tea and cashews Disciples purchase through the Coffee Project, 15 cents per pound goes to the Project's Small Farmer Fund.

Disciples Women’s Ministries also receive a portion of the proceeds from the sales to help fund its many ministries here at FCC, Tyler.

Order forms for organic, fair-trade coffee, tea, chocolate, or cashews for the holidays will be available at the Coffee Bar on Sundays during October and at the Happy Holidays Arts and Craft Fair on November 8.
