All Saints

November 1 is just around the corner, and that means it’s almost time for All Saints Sunday at FCC!

All Saints Sunday is a time to remember the everyday “saints” who have gone before us—the beloved family members, friends, and members of our faith community whose lives have touched ours and helped shape our faith.

This year, we invite everyone to bring a photo of a loved one who has passed away, whether recently or many years ago, to contribute to our memorial display in Disciples Hall. Whether it’s a family member, a dear friend, or someone who helped nurture your faith, we would love to make space to remember and honor the people who continue to hold a special place in our hearts. Photos will be displayed that morning and can be taken home after the service.

We also want to remember the members of our FCC family who have passed away in the past 12 months. If your family has lost a loved one who was a member of our church during this time, please share a photo of them with us so we can display their picture on the screens during worship as we recognize and honor our church saints.

During Contemporary Worship, we’ll continue our tradition of writing the names of beloved family and friends on prayer flags, ribbons, or a table drape. Together, we’ll celebrate their lives, give thanks for the faith they shared with us, and remember that the love they gave continues to shape who we are.

All Saints Sunday reminds us that we are part of a much larger story of faith, woven together across generations. We hope you’ll join us as we remember, honor, and give thanks for the saints in our lives.
