GriefShare, Saturdays, Jan 17- March 7

In light of your loss of — this year, we are inviting you to attend First Christian Church’s GriefShare support group. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

This year GriefShare meets for eight consecutive Saturdays from 10 AM - noon starting Saturday, January 17, 2026 and concluding Saturday, March 7, 2026.  We will meet in the church parlor (the parlor door is on the Loop 323 side of the building; the church is located at Loop 323 and South Broadway in Tyler). There is no charge to attend GriefShare.  The group watches videos and studies materials prepared by grief counseling experts, and small group discussions follow. 
GriefShare seeks to help participants better understand the effects of their particular grief, and to begin rebuilding their lives. GriefShare.org is a Christian-based, international organization that has been meeting at FCC each winter for the past 18 years.

In 2004 - 2005, we lost five close family members within an 18-month period. At the recommendation of a friend, we joined a local GriefShare group and found it to be very helpful.
