FCC Happy Holidays Bazaar Information!
ABOUT THE DAY
The Happy Holidays Bazaar is a well-established FCC tradition – as in, we’ve held it annually, for aproximately 40 years now! It’s a series of independent “booths” staged in our Christian Life Center lobby, Gym and Conference room.
This one-day event will be held on November 11th, 2023, 9 AM to 4 PM.
This event is meant to bring together local craftspeople, artisans, small businesses, and local businesses. It also gives a platform to our FCC ministries. Overall the FCC Bazaar is meant to deliver a great holiday shopping experience to the city of Tyler, filled with a whole assortment of art pieces, crafted goods, vintage wares, plants, and much more
The range of goods has changed and grown over the years, so not all booths sell homemade/handmade products (ex: Boutiques or Vintage Shops) – but our mission is to support handmade, local, and small businesses of all kinds.
WHAT BAZAAR SUPPORTS
In addition to being an affordable way for small businesses to reach customers at a key time of year, the Bazaar benefits multiple church groups. Our Generation Great ministry for retirees receives a share of booth fees. Our Adult Mission Trip team staffs the “Mission Kitchen” snack bar, makes breakfast and lunch for a fee that goes towards supporting them. Our Disciples Women’s Ministry also raises money through their booth, called The Kountry Kitchen.
All these FCC groups support local, regional and international causes through their own giving.
Thousands of dollars flow through our church groups and into our community and world, for good – all because we open the Life Center on one day for a big, joyful shopping party. It always feels more like Thanksgiving and Christmas once Bazaar day rolls around! We invite you to join us on this exiting occasion!
